George chaser can build on decent Huntingdon run
14:55 Ludlow - Back Stamp Your Feet @ 4.10
A small field of six for the 14:35 handicap chase, and my idea of a decent bet here is Tom George's Stamp Your Feet.
It's early days with his chase career, but I liked his first start over fences at Huntingdon last time over a similar sort of trip to what he'll face today. He ran a strange race as he looked well beaten at one stage but he fairly flew home. That was a reasonable affair and I expect him to improve on that.
Good or good to soft going isn't a problem and he's certainly well handicapped from his rating of 129. At one stage he was a 132-rated hurdler and had some decent form over further.
He could also be one to consider if you like putting up orders at bigger prices in-play as he could trade higher.
Destiny can complete the hat-trick at Wolves
19:55 Wolverhampton - Back Grey Destiny @ 5.905/1
Anthony Brittain's Grey Destiny is a bit of a favourite of mine, and he's appeared in Bets Of The Day a couple of times. Sadly, not for his recent back-to-back victories at Southwell and Wolverhampton. He is flying at the moment.
He isn't the type to win by miles as he needs delivering as late as possible to wait for the gaps. He's often unlucky, and he often races very keen, so the draw in 1 is somewhat irrelevant.
His keen way of racing didn't stop him winning over course and distance in early January - as he finished well from a stop-start gallop to claim victory.
The veteran is up again in the weights, but he's in such good nick I cannot leave him out. He's a smashing horse who took in 19 races in 2018 and is remarkably durable.
It was tricky finding bets for Monday, but Grey Destiny can complete the hat-trick.
