Nick Shiambouros was on the mark yesterday when his selection Night Edition won. Nick hopes to end his current stint in the tipping chair with a couple of winners from Huntingdon...
"I think he will leave this form behind, and should be ready to do himself justice"
Back Loughan at BSP in the 14:11 at Huntingdon
14:11 Huntingdon - Loughan
Loughan should make his presence felt on hurdles debut.
This gelding was sent off favourite when finishing fifth to Osprey Call in a bumper on the Polytrack at Lingfield last November. He was headed a furlong from home, but kept on well enough and was not beaten all that far. I think he will leave this form behind, and should be ready to do himself justice. At present he is 7.06/1 on the exchange.
Fugitives Drift heads the market at 3.02/1. He was beaten a long way on hurdles debut, and needs to jump a lot better to take this. He represents a top yard, and it would be foolish to write him off.
Sweet on Honey
15:11 Huntingdon - Miss Honey Rider
Miss Honey Rider should go close in this interesting contest.
This mare put in a much improved effort when finishing second to the progressive Cill Anna at Wincanton last month. She kept on strongly in the closing stages, but the winner was long gone. The winner looks useful, and time may tell she faced an impossible task. I think she is open to further improvement and is fairly priced at 4.47/2 on the exchange.
Who's The Boss has run creditably without winning, and appears to be the main danger. Her form looks solid enough and is currently priced at 5.24/1 on the exchange.
