Alan Thompson has three selections on a busy Sunday's racing two from the UK meetings at Redcar and Kempton and one from Leopardstown...
"Brian Meehan's gelding has his quirks having hung both right and left-handed in the past but they seem to be getting a tune out of him at the minute"
Palavecino looking to get a hat-trick of wins since lockdown
The lightly raced Palavecino has come out of 'lockdown' in good form and rewarded connections again for their patience, with another success at this track nine days ago. Brian Meehan's gelding has his quirks having hung both right and left-handed in the past but they seem to be getting a tune out of him at the minute. There is definitely some ability in the four-year-old and with just a few miles on the clock you have to expect even further improvement to come.
Hello Girl can go in again
Nigel Tinkler's Hello Girl took advantage of a career-low mark on Wednesday at Beverley and although she has a penalty to carry this is a weaker race than at Beverley and she looks capable of following up. Things certainly fell right for her there but under the same conditions and with confidence high, she can notch another success having been capable of far better than this in her earlier years.
One Voice can get back to winning ways at Leopardstown
One Voice was mugged right on the line after trading at [1.09] on her seasonal debut in the Salsabil Stakes over a mile and two furlongs. The winner, who was a stablemate, didn't give One Voice any chance of battling back such was the gubbing. That race looks a stronger race than today's and with her stable being in good form I think she deserves another chance. The ground today probably suits her better than the fast ground she ran on last time and Leopardstown suits her way of racing.
