Blue Artisan (20:50)
Is now a veteran performer, albeit a talented one, and deserves a moment in the spotlight again after some unlucky-in-running defeats. However, has pace inside to contend with, which puts pressure on a ping, plus has a young, progressive sort in Johnny Kwango to beat. Has obvious claims, but things need to go right at the odds.
Bansha Mo (21:25)
A fantastically talented bitch if she's back to her best, but patently the wrong price. Yes, the fastest heat winner but a bitch prone to a lapse early and in Droopys Hope is up against a similarly back-to-form bitch with the draw inside her chief rival. Any slip-ups early will be costly where the favourite is concerned, as she has struggled of late to win from off the pace.
Welton Arthur (21:45)
It's an incredible story to come back from serious injury, and then a red card, but it's that indiscretion which always puts doubts in the head. And the fact that this favourite for the Donny St Leger is so short suggests he is worth taking on. He will not lead, so will have to weave his way through, manoeuvres which always signal possible danger.
