Timeform pick out three bets from Romford and Sheffield on Thursday...
"...all looks set fair for a big run..."
Timeform on Brae Flyer
OUR DUKE (Trap 6, 14.32) was a higher class operator in his pomp, but proved he still has what it takes when an easy winner in A5 company last time out. The grader hasn't been too harsh on that evidence, and granted another fast exit from the boxes, he should make a bold bid to follow up.
The feature of Romford's 16.09 is the lack of early pace, that aside from GLASHEEN BILLY (Trap 4). A relative late starter on these shores, 400 metres is probably as far as he wants to go, yet he should soon be in the vanguard, and with at least a couple of lengths improvement likely, he gets our nod to hold off the late comers.
BRAE FLYER (Trap 2, 17.22) hasn't tasted success since early February, however the grader's mercy looks fairly obvious this afternoon and she is fancied to make a bold bid. The daughter of Kinloch Brae's recent form reads particularly well in this field and granted she rates the likely early leader, all looks set fair for a big run.
