ONLYATTHEROYAL (T2) has worked his way up the grading ladder at Central Park and he looked very good when making all in an Open at Hove last month. Crowding at the second bend cost him back over this C&D last week but he has a clear edge on the clock in the 7.54 contest.
ESKES BLACKMAGIC (T3) mixes four/six bends as well as handicaps, and all things considered, the make-up of Poole's 8.53 affair looks a great chance for her to regain the winning thread. There doesn't appear to be much early on her inside, so the selection can turn handy before turning the screw, and a 27.00 performance on the clock would land most A2's at the track.
