Timeform provide selections from Romford and Doncaster on Saturday.
"...he’s certainly in great heart..."
Romford's early card provides the first two bets, with JULIES GIRL (T5) taken to boss her rivals from the off in the 10.44 affair. A return of two wins from 20 runs since transferring from Ireland is a bit disappointing given the selection's ability, but this doesn't appear to be the strongest A2 by the track's standards.
CONFIDENT ADRIEL (T5) boasts a nice blend of early pace and strong-staying power over the standard 400m trip at Romford, and can put that to good use in the 12.28 contest. He was done no favours by serious crowding here last week, but had displayed plenty of zip prior to that, and his record in the orange jacket (as opposed to trap 6) is only a niggling worry.
Later at Doncaster, the make-up of the 17.53 contest is perfect for HONOUR EXPRESS (T6) given he's the sole wide seed, and he's certainly in great heart, winning twice in this A3 grade in 2018. He also did very little wrong when mugged on the line a week ago, so compensation awaits.
