Sprints aren't everyone's cup of tea but the 16.48 at Hove this afternoon looks a good opportunity for T1 Truffles to open her account in D2 company. A ping break saw her upgraded after an easy win win in a fast time in D3 grade three runs back, but the company she faces today is much easier than in her last two starts and she rates quite a confident selection.
The second race at Doncaster this evening can go the way of T3 Proper Pam. The selection is usually quick exiting the boxes and comes here in a good vein of form. The quality of opponent she is up against looks slightly less than of late as well, and the youngster can continue her progress.
The best bet on the RPGTV card at Sunderland promises to be T6 El Clasico in the 19.52. The stripes hasn't won a handicap for some time which might seem odd given he's long been a standing dish in such races on Wearside, but the grader has been harsh on him since running up a three-timer in May. This is by far an easier task, however, and he has an excellent chance.
