Timeform provide selections from Belle Vue and Hove on Wednesday...

Timeform on Kilara Mary
Two greyhounds stand out at Belle Vue this afternoon with the first of them being T4 Kilara Mary in the 14.27. This A3 contest doesn't look the most competitive of affairs - indeed, it looks a fair bit easier than the race she won in the same grade last time - and so long as she gets a fair crack at things she has plenty of form in the book to win this.
Later at Belle Vue, the 16.07 looks a good opportunity for T4 Longvale Star. After reeling off three wins on the trot in August/September the selection has found things harder up significantly in grade, but her last effort was a good one in a much stronger race than this one. With two slow starters on her inside she has a good chance of making the bend in front.
The 17.44 at Hove looks an interesting A10 contested largely by young pups, but the sole wide seed T6 Happy Monarch has more experience than most and could well be the answer. Happy Monarch is still something of a novice himself, but is getting the hang of things and has flown home in his last three starts to suggest a win is imminent. He should give backers a good run for the money.
