Timeform provide selections from three different venues on Tuesday...
Crucial to BALLYMAC BACKATU's (Trap 2, 12.18) chances are escaping early crowding, but in the hope he can do just that, all looks set fair for a big run. For all he hasn't been trapping all that well of late, he does have a good break in his locker and - drawn outside a moderate breaker - he can capitalise on the drop in grade.
Over at Poole, MACHINE GUN (Trap 6, 21.06) is a well-established leading A1 performer with a strong-running style. Despite a hefty first bend bump on his most recent outing, he kept on well to finish second in a respectable time, and he can concede ground all round in this handicap and swoop late to enhance his tally.
CONEY KARAT (Trap 6, 21.50) ran a perfectly respectable race returned to this six-bend trip last week, runner-up behind a good winner. He looks very well-housed in the striped jacket this evening, where several seem likely to head for the rails, and with obvious claims on expected final time he can make a bold bid from the front.
