"...granted his share of luck-in-running, a better showing is on the cards..."
Timeform on Bellside Nel
We kick off this afternoon at Nottingham and whilst recent form figures aren't so inspiring, BELLSIDE NEL (Trap 3, 13.51) looks to hold sound claims of setting the record straight. Having proved his ability remains intact in a C&D trial 3 starts back, the son of Tullymurry Act hasn't had much go right subsequently but crucially has sound claims of turning front rank today and, granted his share of luck-in-running, a better showing is on the cards.
There is a strong suspicion Marians Dream will take up the lion's share of the market in Sheffield's 20.28 and understandably so. However, we think there may well be a spot of value in the shape of JOYFORD CASTLE (Trap 5). The Newcastle raider has been in fine form on home soil of late landing a mini bitches final most recently. Mixing early pace and stamina, she is fancied to turn handy this evening and we're hopeful of a very big run.
Remaining at Sheffield DOROTAS WOO HOO (Trap 6, 20.43) may not lead early but he looks well-housed to turn handy in the striped jacket and, with a recent C&D trial highlighting his well-being, he is fancied to strike. Charlie Lister's charge has an enviable record at Owlerton and he can make his presence felt from the ¾ point.
