Timeform provide selections from Nottingham and Sheffield on Tuesday...
"...the strong feeling is that he is better than that grade..."
Timeform on Magna Disco
The first race (11.03) of Nottingham's early card a provides bet number one, with OAKMAC SPORT (T5) taken to gain a quick-fire brace following an all-the-way winner on Friday. The selection goes unpenalised by the grader for that narrow win, and though Narabane Blue on his inside boasts a similar profile, Oakmac Sport is an uncomplicated sort who can build up any early lead.
Later at Sheffield, MAGNA DISCO (T5) has been expensive to follow in A5 company in recent weeks, but the strong feeling is that he is better than that grade, so he has to be afforded another chance in the 20.58 affair. Barrie Draper's charge hasn't been trapping as he can of late, but he will get it right before long and he's fancied to make all against this bunch.
The 480m at Sheffield can be something of a specialist distance given the very short run to the bend, and HARTON ROSS (T1) can put his experience of this trip to the best possible advantage. The selection has a 27.87 effort on his CV when landing an Open last month and a repeat of that performance should be enough to land the 21.32 affair.
