Timeform provide the best bets at Perry Barr and Central Park on Sunday...
Our first two bets come from Perry Barr's afternoon card, with BLACK KEY (Trap 4, 16:24) an appealing candidate in his quest to shed his maiden tag. A brace of narrow runner-up efforts in A8 class of late suggest Black Key is now getting the hang of things and, given there doesn't appear to be masses of early pace in this contest, he could easily make the bend in front this time.
CUSHIE OBSIDIAN (Trap 2, 17:37) is unlikely to lead up early, but he certainly doesn't have to given he's a very strong stayer over the 480m trip. Last week's runner-up effort indicates he's back at peak fitness following a spell off the track during the summer and, given he's proven at A4 level at his peak, this A7 affair should be well within his compass.
It's Open action pretty much all of the way at Central Park this evening, with TUNRHOUSE JET (Trap 6, 21:01) a rare hurdles wager for this column. The selection had only a short head to spare from the game and reopposing Droopys Trawler last week, but he has an ideal make-up out wide and is a very reliable trapper, so is taken to extend his winning sequence to four.
BLACK KEY (Trap 4) - 16:24 Perry Barr
CUSHIE OBSIDIAN (Trap 2) - 17:37 Perry Barr
TUNRHOUSE JET (Trap 6) - 21:01 Central Park
