Timeform pick out their three best bets from Perry Barr and Poole on Sunday...
"...did well to finish as close she did last week given she made a mess of the start..."
Timeform on Swift Fondue
The first two selections bookend the Perry Barr afternoon card (14:12), with FENBAY JOE (Trap 5) fancied to get off the mark in his new surroundings. He's been well travelled throughout his career, but has attained Open class status in the past and he really should be making his mark at A4 level sooner rather than later.
CLOHEENA PEDRO (Trap 6) can boast a record of 4-10 in sprints at the track, and his 16.62 performance in D4 company last week was his best run for a while. He understandably moves up a grade but the make-up of the 17:55 race is ideal as he's the only wide seed.
Later at Poole, having tackled A8 company for the first time last week, SWIFT FONDUE (Trap 5) did well to finish as close she did last week given she made a mess of the start. She holds an edge on the clock over her rivals in the 20:19 contest and should be too strong for these from halfway if breaking on terms.
