Timeform pick out three bets from Greyhound Derby Semi Finals night at Towcester on Saturday...
"He did well overcome a slow start on Tuesday and we'll be seeing him back at Towcester next week if he can get on the bunny tonight."
Timeform on Dorotas Wildcat
It's the night of reckoning for the twelve remaining Greyhound Derby finalists and RISING BRANDY (Trap 2) can book his place in next week's race with victory in the first semi at 21:06. Bruisers Bullet is the only dog to have beaten Matt Dartnall's dog in the competition so far and he got his revenge on him a week later with a blistering third-round success. He then destroyed his rivals with another pillar-to-post victory in the quarters on Tuesday. He beat the ante-post favourite and jolly this evening Droopys Verve in the Midlands Puppy Derby in March and can do so again.
Splitting Droopys Verve and Rising Brandy in the ante-post betting is DOROTAS WILDCAT (Trap 3) and the second semi at 21:22 can go to Kevin Hutton's charge. Having lost to Rising Brandy in the opening heats he's gone unbeaten in his next three runs, including a beating of Droopys Verve. He did well overcome a slow start on Tuesday and we'll be seeing him back at Towcester next week if he can get on the bunny tonight.
Elsewhere on the card KILCREE DIAMOND (Trap 1) looks one of the best bets late on in the 22:10 for Mark Wallis. A semi-finalist in the Puppy Derby at Towcester last year, he's since made up into a winning machine over 400m at Romford but has speed to burn and could offer some value back sprinting returned to this venue.
