Timeform provide selections from Sheffield & Nottingham in search of winners on Monday.
"...a decent break can see him come out on top..."
Timeform on Funk Factor
A winner in this grade during early May, SULLANE JET (Trap 6, 15.28) has remained in good form since, filling the runners-up spot all 3 starts since. Boasting a fair amount of early pace, the son of Droopys Jet should soon be in a prominent position again, and a bold bid is expected.
Staying at Sheffield SKIPROE MICK (Trap 3, 17.38) is fancied to make a bold bid when he lines-up in A4 Company. On sectional ratings he rates the likeliest leader which could prove crucial judged on the make-up of this race and with sound claims on expected final time also, we're hopeful he can add further success to his tally.
Over at Nottingham we step up in class for our final selection, kicking off with FUNK FACTOR (Trap 4, 19.52). Brian Thompson's charge is a pup firmly on the up judged on his exploits at home track and, with a more than respectable sprint trial at this venue last week, a decent break can see him come out on top, admittedly in a race containing a host of promising types.
