Timeform have picked out bets from Belle Vue and Hove on Wednesday.
"The son of Makeshift knocked on the door in A5 company on a couple of occasions last month, and again looks to hold solid claims of leading up early here."
We kick off at Hove in the 14:08, and hopefully this is the day BURNPARK PIXIE (Trap 6) puts it all together and regains the winning thread. The daughter of Cashen Legend usually plies her trade at a higher level than this, and caught the eye in second last time despite meeting with trouble late in the day. This doesn't appear the strongest contest on paper, and in the hope she can get a clear run early (sole wide seed), she is fancied to end the drought.
Belle Vue's 14:37 features today's second selection and we're hopeful BRACKENSTONE NED (Trap 4) can resume winning ways. The son of Forest Master has proved himself competitive in as high as A2 company previously and was only caught late on in this grade on his latest outing. His early pace should soon see him to good effect once again, and he should make a bold bid.
Belle Vue's 18:18 rates a tricky A6 contest on paper but we believe there may be some mileage in supporting TICK TOCK TICK (Trap 3) representing Beverley Heaton. The son of Makeshift knocked on the door in A5 company on a couple of occasions last month, and again looks to hold solid claims of leading up early here. This doesn't appear the strongest race on paper and hopefully Tick Tock Tick can make every post a winning one.
