Timeform bring you three selections from Hove on Wednesday.
"...with GUINNESS STORM (Trap 6) fancied to build on a couple of solid runner-up efforts of late and regain the winning thread."
Our first selection comes in the D1 Sprint contest over 285 metres at 14:47, and we're hopeful GUINNESS SUN (Trap 4) can continue his good recent work and add another top grade contest to his tally. The son of Kinloch Brae has won three of his last five starts, and lost little in defeat on his latest outing. Guiness Sun is a pretty reliable operator at the traps, and he can poach a lead up the middle before holding his rivals at bay.
The 15:07 rates a tough A5 contest to crack, but there may well be some value to be had with Claude Gardiner's AMERICAN WERWOLF (Trap 4). Granted, his losing run is mounting up, but he boasted form at a much higher level in his pomp (successful as high as A2 over C&D) and knocked on the door twice in A4 company earlier this month. Two of his three efforts since can be ignored, and with plenty of back-class to call upon he gets our vote to end the drought.
Our final selection comes at 17:38 an A11 contest over the standard trip of 515 metres, with GUINNESS STORM (Trap 6) fancied to build on a couple of solid runner-up efforts of late and regain the winning thread. Seamus Cahill's charge has been competitive at a higher level than basement grade in the past, and looks to hold solid claims of getting back on track out wide here.
