Timeform bring you three selections from Sheffield on Tuesday.
"Elaine Parker’s charge is trapping as well as he ever has done..."
Our first selection features at 18:56 with SWIFT DARIUS (Trap 5) fancied to regain the winning thread following a narrow defeat last time. Russ Warren's pup looks to hold obvious claims of leading up on the outside on this occasion, and with his recorded times reading particularly well in the context of this event, he can hopefully get us off to a good start. Kowloon Ronnie on the inner for Barrie Draper may well provide the chief threat for the forecast.
The pups take centre-stage at 19:58 and hopefully BALLYCOWEN COLM (Trap 4) can use his useful early pace and add another win to his tally. Lisa Stephenson's showed a good attitude when successful in a C&D A1 contest 7 days ago and looks sure to be quickly making the best of his way home up the centre. Geelo Onesie (Trap 5) is really beginning to get the hang of things also and he is expected to provide the lead threat.
Our third and final selection comes at 20:14 and classy local QATAR FORTUNE (Trap 3) is fancied to use his superior course knowledge to good effect, having found the going too tough against last year's English Derby finalist Making Paper on his last competitive outing. Elaine Parker's charge is trapping as well as he ever has done, and with a number of his rivals not looking at their best for one reason or another, he can hopefully grab an early lead and have enough in reserve to send us home on a winning note.
