Timeform pick out three bets at Sheffield tonight.
"Runner-up in three of his last four outings in A1 company, the son of Black Shaw undoubtedly faces his easiest assignment for some time now dropped in to A2 grade..."
Our first selection comes at 18:39, with Newcastle raider DROOPYS FIVE (Trap 2) fancied to continue the good work since returning from a break this year. A winner on home soil on his most latest outing, the son of Loughteen Blanco has some smart C&D form to call upon, notably when runner-up in the Ryan Holmes Puppy Cup Final over Christmas. He will need to clear Droopys Gigi on the run to the first bend - who is a match for many at this venue for Elaine Parker - but in the hope he does so, Droopys Five gets our vote to continue on his upward curve in all-age company.
It does come as quite a surprise that GEELO ROMEO (Trap 5, 20:31) still only has one C&D success on his C.V, but Carl Perry's charge has mixed it with some smart sorts in open and graded company. Runner-up in three of his last four outings in A1 company, the son of Black Shaw undoubtedly faces his easiest assignment for some time now dropped in to A2 grade, and hopefully he can take full advantage from out wide. Ballycowen Colm (Trap 2) looks to have a decent make-up to work from on the inner, and Lisa Stephenson's charge may emerge as the chief threat and is the forecast play.
Our final selection comes at 21:02 with Barrie Draper's SHARP MOVER (Trap 6) fancied to strip fitter for a trio of comeback outings. A son of the great Flying Winner, and a multiple winner over four and six bends himself, Sharp Mover will need to be on his metal from the word go, but holds obvious claims in this grade given his strong running style. Hopefully, granted a trouble-free passage he can resume winning ways and send us home with a winner.
