Timeform bring you three selections from Harlow and Sheffield on Tuesday.
"The selection looks to have only Coolavanny Murph (Trap 3) to beat to the first bend..."
The fifth race (20:42) at Harlow can go the way of KENTISH ROSE (Trap 1). The Sittingbourne raider is top grade at her local track and in the form of her life right now. A recent trial here showed the track holds no terrors for her and with improvement expected from that look round she can prove too strong against rivals weaker than she has been up against recently.
The tenth race (20:58) at Sheffield can go to BALLYCOWEN COLM (Trap 2). The selection looks to have only Coolavanny Murph (Trap 3) to beat to the first bend but even if going round second would still be fancied given his early-paced rival is a short runner. Laura Stephenson's charge appears to have little to fear from the remainder.
Back at Harlow, it seems odd that POPEYE (Trap 3, 21:32) has been dropped in grade just when he's in top form but that's the scenario in the eighth race there. His two recent wins have been over the 592m trip, but he's no slouch at this shorter trip and back at it for the first time in a while now finds himself in a weaker grade than last time. Gracious Lad in Trap 2 is an obvious danger.
