"Kelly Macari’s charge is expected to be that little bit sharper this evening..."
NEWINN ACT (Trap 3, 19:11) has yet to score in five attempts on the open-race scene, but does boast the benefit of a respectable trial over C&D seven days ago. There are reasons to believe we have yet to see the best of Pat Rosney's November 14' charge to date, and in the hope he can turn that bit handier today, particularly given the benefit of a look round, he can hopefully put it all together this evening.
PINPOINT BOOM (Trap 1, 20:16) has only had the one competitive outing since his exit from the Derby, but that was a creditable performance amidst trouble when beaten two lengths in to fourth over C&D last week. Kelly Macari's charge is expected to be that little bit sharper this evening, and in the hope he can escape the attentions of Save The Don (Trap 2) early doors, is fancied to prove too strong for Maum Legend on this occasion.
Two real early paced youngsters take each other on at 20:51 in the Deluxe Flooring Puppy Standard in the shape of NEWINN BLITZ (Trap 2) and Bramble Mackem, and we're narrowly siding with the former to build on last week's 28.78 success. Pat Rosney's son of Kinloch Brae can hopefully account for those on the inside, and whilst the latter is a local pup very much on the up, the former can hopefully have enough in reserve and sign us off with success.
