Timeform's in-form Greyhound team have picked out three bets on Tuesday.
"A one grade rise is unlikely to stop him following up."
The eighth race (12:47) at Nottingham this afternoon is competitive on the face of it judged by the forecast prices, but the prospects of Trap 6 Alabamacangarita look to have been underestimated. The only wide runner in the line up, the stripes is a class above these when on song and has surprisingly been dropped into A5 grade for the first time here after finishing a good second on her recent comeback. That run wasn't far off her recent best and her early pace should ensure she's soon out in front in this much weaker affair.
At Harlow this evening T5 Bodmin Moor can blast out and make all in the 20:10, an Open race in name but effectively a glorified inter-track contest. Local knowledge is a big advantage here and the homer can outrun Yarmouth raider Amelie to the first bend after which it should be game over.
Later at Harlow, T2 Gracious Lad appeals in the 21:32. Winner first time last week after some promising trials, the manner of the success was more impressive than the finishing time or the rating he recorded as despite missing the break he was already in front before the first bend and well clear by the second bend, idling in font as the pack closed. A one grade rise is unlikely to stop him following up.
