Timeform pick out three bets from three different venues on Thursday.
"There may well be more to come, and in an A9 lacking a lot of depth, Mallogs Nina gets our vote to find a little bit more improvement and the land the hat-trick."
Our first selection comes at 13:12 in a D3 contest over Sheffield's 280-metre trip, in which we're hopeful RAYTHEWINDOWNMAN (Trap 6) can make today the day he opens his account on these shores. A good winner at Kilkenny in Ireland, the son of Rayvin Giovanni has knocked on the door of late, and looks to have been given a chance by the grader here. Moderate exits have been his Achilles' heel, but we're hopeful Raythewindowman will have too many gears for his rivals here.
TRAPSTYLE SOLAR (Trap 2, 16:18, Crayford) has been hindered by trouble in-running of late, and did well to finish runner-up in S6 grade last time having found plenty of trouble. Another hound granted assistance from the grader now operating in S7, Trapstyle Solar could well represent some value here, and in the hope he can break from Trap 2 early, he should make a bold bid to deservedly get back to winning ways.
We have to wait until early evening for our final Smartplay selection, but hopefully TICK TOCK TICK (Trap 3) can round off the day with a winner when she lines up in in Hove's A9 at 18:44. The youngster, a June 14' whelp by Tubbertelly Dubh, has really found her feet of late, landing back-to-back successes in A11 and A10 grade despite having to come from the rear. There may well be more to come, and in an A9 lacking a lot of depth, Mallogs Nina gets our vote to find a little bit more improvement and the land the hat-trick.
