Timeform bring you three selections from Hove on Easter Sunday.
"She looks to hold sound claims with her sights lowered to D3 class on this occasion..."
It is safe to say the Maiden Stayers over 695 metres at 13:12 isn't the strongest contest on paper, but it could be a chance for JUSTICE MATTERS (Trap 1) to dispel a luckless effort over this trip on his latest outing. Claude Gardiner's charge was behind a couple of these on that very start, but suffered plenty of interference drawn in the middle that day, and now operating from what looks a much better launch pad on the rails, could well be up to supplementing his S2 success of 4 weeks ago.
We step markedly down in trip for today's second selection notably over 285 metres with NELLIE OLESON (Trap 4) fancied to regain the winning thread at 13:28. An easy winner in D2 company last month, the daughter of Razldazl Jayfkay has essentially acquitted herself with credit subsequently in that grade. She looks to hold sound claims with her sights lowered to D3 class on this occasion, and granted one of her best exits, is expected to be in the firing line from the word go.
Our final selection comes in the A4 contest at 13:44 and with a pace burn up expected up the inner that may well play in to the paws of CASTLEMARY REBEL (Trap 5) for Paul Garland. The son of Sparta Maestro doesn't do himself any favours at the traps, but that may not be the biggest inconvenience here, given he packs a real punch coming home. He boasts form at a higher level than this, and whilst hounds such as Shirleys Whiskey (Trap 3) will be dangerous if getting loose, Castlemary Rebel can hopefully keep on to their coat-tails and pick them off late in the day.
