Having graded on at A6 Perry Barr level last spring, Threepointfive (T3) has never really had a clear run at racing, but when he has made it to the track he has shown progressive form, winning seven of his 17 starts. Early pace is definitely his main weapon and, entitled to strip much fitter with his reappearance a fortnight ago under his belt, Threepointfive is fancied to dominate the field.

On Tip Toes (Trap 2) - 19:51 Perry Barr

The four-year-old On Tip Toes (T2) is firmly into the veteran stage of her career, but she has spent the majority of that time tackling A5/6 Perry Barr company. In fact, last week's run in A8 company was the first time she's ever been pitched into that lowly level and she stuck to her task pretty well when third, finishing clear of the rest. As you'd expect from a greyhound dipping in class, On Tip Toes is nicely clear on our figures so she probably won't get a better chance to snap her lengthy losing sequence.

Shortwood Star (Trap 4) - 21:26 Perry Barr

Shortwood Star (T4) presents a conundrum for punters in that he ended 2022 out of sorts, and following a spell off the track he hasn't fared much better on both starts back in recent weeks. He should now be spot on fitness-wise, though, and certainly has form at a higher level to call upon. A strong stayer over this 480m trip, Shortwood Star could represent a bit of value.
