Timeform pick out three bets from Monmore and Sheffield on Monday.

"With a slow starter on his inside he should turn in front or very handy and has the class to assert should that be the case..."

Farloe Thekid (Trap 1) is taking on slightly easier rivals today than of late and can get back to winning ways in the 15.07 at Monmore. The selection isn't the strongest of stayers, so much depends on his break, but he's usually consistent in that regard and looks to have the legs of his opponents early. If he establishes an early advantage, he'll prove hard to catch with his last run when caught close home likely to have put him spot on after a two-week break.

The Sheffield grader has looked kindly on Bodell Bolt (Trap 3) dropping him into A6 company despite a series of good efforts in A5 grade and he looks worth an interest in the 15.58. With a slow starter on his inside he should turn in front or very handy and has the class to assert should that be the case. The last time he ran in this grade he scored back in January.

The same comments could also apply to Whinmoor Prancer (Trap 1) in the 16.18. The selection, still a young dog, is a regular winner in A4 company but hasn't quite made the breakthrough at A3 level, albeit just touched off the last three times he has competed at that level. The latest of those occasions was last time out, an effort made even more credible considering he was starting from trap 2, so facing an easier task today and back in his favoured trap 1 he makes plenty of appeal.
