Timeform pick out three bets from Sheffield and Nottingham on Monday.
"The daughter of Confident Rankin looks well berthed to make a bold bid down the centre...
The 15:58 at Sheffield is a typically competitive A4 contest but, with that in mind, there is potentially some value on offer in the shape of SCREECH (Trap 6). Craig Hopkins' charge hasn't won for a while, but has the form in the book to play a lead role here, with his record in this class particularly compelling. Ambleside Jake (Trap 5) is likely to show up in front from lid rise and make a bold bid, but Screech is fancied to follow him round out wide and add another success in this grade to his tally.
CONFIDENT ZENIA (Trap 3) doesn't boast the most compelling of strike-rates, but could well be up to regaining the winning thread in another A4 contest at 18:18. The daughter of Confident Rankin looks well berthed to make a bold bid down the centre and, given she has finished runner-up in stronger A4 events in three of her last four starts (can be forgiven a lesser effort in a handicap latest), she can hopefully get the job done. Shes Mas (Trap 6) has plenty of early zip and can emerge as the chief threat.
We head to Nottingham's 19:22 contest for our final selection and hopefully a chance for the lightly-raced DROOPYS PATCH (Trap 6) to build on some narrow margin defeats in this grade of late and regain the winning thread. The daughter of Aero Majestic isn't expected to be about early doors, but does finish with quite a flourish and, given her improvement may not have levelled out just yet, she can hopefully pick up the pieces late on with a number of early pace merchants in opposition down the centre.
