Timeform provide bets from Hove and Monmore on Friday.
ARDERA PASS (Trap 6, 15:58, Monmore) is now well in to the veteran stage of his career, but showed - despite some crowding - that the fire still burns bright with a hard-fought success in this grade 11 days ago. The son of Royal Impact looks to have been given solid claims of going close again, and in the hope he gets one of his better exits from the boxes, gets the narrow vote to follow up.
Hove's 17:07, a D2 contest over 285 metres, essentially rates a tight-knit affair on paper, but we think there may be some mileage in supporting DRUMCOVE OSCAR (Trap 2). Maria Collins' charge holds solid claims on the clock, and whilst he hasn't been trapping all that well of late, he has already proven his effectiveness when coming from off the pace. We're hopeful the son of Godsend can turn handy, and provided he holds his position on the rails, he could provide some value.
We head back to the Midlands for today's final selection, Monmore's 17:17 to be precise and we think there may be some mileage in supporting DEEJAYS JACS (Trap 5). The son of Razldazl Jayfkay has already gone agonisingly close on a couple of occasions during his short Monmore career to date, and can be forgiven a slightly underwhelming effort last time after he encountered traffic problems. The selection should soon be in a prominent position judged on sectional times, and hopefully he can put that to good use and register his first success today.
