Timform provide the best bets at Sheffield on Thursday.
For a December 17 bitch, REDZER ROYAL (T3) hasn't stood much racing, but she has enjoyed a really productive spring over both four and six bends at Sheffield, winning three times in all. Campaigned over six bends very early in her career, stamina is clearly her forte and following an excellent handicap run last week when finding only a rival who enjoyed a trouble-free run too strong, Redzer Royal appeals as the pick back in a regular 660m contest at 15.26.
The following contest at 15.44 looks an interesting A5 contest and it may pay to gamble on the fitness of MIGHTBEASTAR (T3). She's had the obligatory trials having been off the track since March and there's always a worry that she may just need this, but on the flip side she looked better than A5 Sheffield class early in the year so she may get away with it here.
To say that RIGHT TURN JOE (T4) has been knocking on the door in A6 company would be an understatement, beaten less than a length in second on his last three outings. He hasn't done a lot wrong in the process and with his early pace a good weapon, it's surely only a matter of time before he builds up an unassailable lead in one of these, hopefully the 16.04 contest.
