Timeform on Blackbird Boy
BLACKBIRD BOY (Trap 1) arrives in Swindon's 12.43 on a losing run stretching back to June but having eased a peg on the graded ladder, there have been better signs of late, running on strongly to go down by a head on the back of a slow break 5 days ago. He's clearly on good terms with himself at present and with a clear run on the rails, he's fancied to regain the winning thread.
LEMON FAE (Trap 2, 18.41) has yet to taste success following her switch to these shores but she has showed plenty of ability on her travels, keeping on well to grab a qualifying spot for this evening's final in a C&D event last week. A draw one off the fences rates a plus on the evidence of that run and with better expected on the clock, she can turn mid-pack and announce her presence from the three-quarter point.
The Arena Racing Company Standard Trophy Final features at 20.36 and in a competitive affair, RAMORS JET (Trap 1) is fancied to continue his run of fine form and land the five-timer. A strong-running sort, he is fancied to cope with the move back to the red jacket and with sound claims on expected final time, he's expected to be handy behind the trail-blazers and bring his stamina in to play from halfway.
