"...can trap smartly once more and make every post a winning one..."
Timeform on Waltham Blue Boy
EDERMINE ABU (Trap 4, 13.06) is now firmly in to the veteran stage of his career as a May 16' whelp but highlighted he still has something to offer in the lower grades when runner-up last week. This afternoon's A7 doesn't rate the strongest on paper and with claims of tuning handy from lid rise, we're hopeful the son of Droopys Nidge can emerge unscathed around the opening couple of bends and emerge on top.
A good sprint contest kicks off Romford's RPGTV fixture and Monmore raider MR ROO (Trap 1, 18.09) is fancied to resume winning ways. He's been in excellent form of late and will be grateful to see Savana Jessica missing from tonight's contest whom he has chased home on each of his last 2 starts. He can hold his position the rails and assert from the half way point.
Over at Nottingham WALTHAM BLUE BOY's (Trap 3, 20.46) long-term future may lie over sprint trips judged on his exploits over Nottingham's 305-metre distance in recent weeks. However, there's plenty of untapped potential to tap in to over 4 bends yet, as he displayed when leading for a long way in A1 company last week. Lynn Cook's charge is fancied to be stronger again for that outing and we're hopeful the son of Hiya Butt can trap smartly once more and make every post a winning one.
Edermine Abu (Trap 4) - 13:06 Kinsley
Mr Roo (Trap 1) - 18:09 Romford
Waltham Blue Boy (Trap 3) - 20:46 Nottingham
