Timeform highlight the best bets at Sheffield and Towcester on Tuesday.
"...it would come as no surprise to see him trap fast and prove tough to peg back..."
Timeform on King Sam
Sheffield's 19.09 is an interesting affair on paper and one in which it may pay to side with SWIFT CHASTITY (Trap 4). Winless since back-to-back victories in February/March, her consistency since has been hard to knock, only reeled in very late in the day by a very strong running sort last time. Lisa Stephenson's brindle promises to turn front rank again this evening and we're hopeful she has enough in the tank to hold off the challengers late on.
There is some top-quality action over at Towcester this evening including the sprint contest at 20.38 in which KING SAM (Trap 3) is fancied to get it right at the boxes and come out on top. Things haven't gone to plan for Liz McNair's charge of late, not least when forced to check at a crucial stage behind the re-opposing Shrewd Call when the pair met at Central Park. He's twice dipped under the 16-second barrier here and it would come as no surprise to see him trap fast and prove tough to peg back.
Top grade sprint action at 21.31 and MEADO WAY STAR (Trap 3) looks to hold excellent claims of adding further success to his tally. A winner three starts back, he's lost little in defeat subsequently, keeping on well behind one who pinged the lids in open class seven days ago. He's fancied to be handy from lid rise once more and assert off the second bend.
