Timeform on Fight The Power
Rackethall Bale (Trap 3, 17.22) has met with some stern assignments of late, albeit far from disgraced behind improving sorts on each of his last 2 starts. A strong-running sort over the 500-metre trip, this rates his easiest assignment for some time and he's fancied to turn handy and announce his presence from the ¾ point.
Master Reed (Trap 3, 21.11) has recently entered the veteran stage of his career but confirmed himself no back number when landing a C&D Derby Trial Stake last week, posting a decent effort on the clock in the process. It's feasible to expect him to be handy at the first bend at the very least and we're hopeful of a bold follow-up bid.
A Sussex Cup finalist Fight The Power (Trap 3, 21.26) ran well on just his second outing at Colwick Park when runner-up in a C&D event last week, that despite meeting with trouble-in-running. The move off the rail doesn't look a bad one in this field and with his latest effort reading well on the clock, all looks set fair for a big run.
