The best wager on Sheffield's afternoon card comes in the A4 contest at 15.09, with EASY GEORGE (T5) fancied to make all. As a May 19 dog, Easy George has it all ahead of him and has displayed seriously-early pace so far in his career, winning twice from five starts. Unsurprisingly he is nicely clear on out first-bend sectional ratings and while he hasn't lasted out in a trio of A3 contests, the drop to A4 company can only aid his cause.

There's Open action at Nottingham this evening, with local runner HAVANA POTTER (T1) fancied to continue the good work in A1 company of late back at the top level. In truth this maiden contest at 19.34 isn't a lot deeper than the aforementioned races he's been winning and with track knowledge in his favour, Havana Potter is very much the one to beat.

The 19.51 is another Open event and continuing the theme of backing a greyhound attached to the track, UPTON LEGEND (T4) looks overpriced. He clearly doesn't possess the scope of a few in this given he's now a 3-y-o, but he's a very dangerous performer when getting it right out of the boxes, and with the majority of the opposition having limited experience of the Nottingham circuit (it can be a difficult track to navigate) he looks the one to be with.
