RPGTV heads to Romford for an all-Open race programme and for punters in search of a few Christmas winners Darrell Williams is on hand to play the role of Santa Claus.

"Consistency has been the watch word for Yvonne Gaskin’s bitch over both two and four bends at the London Road circuit and while an early lead would be preferable she has proved in the past that is by no means a necessity"

Just five go to the traps for the feature Standard final (21:09) where fastest heat winner and solo wide seed Chopchop Hope should have few excuses with a vacant box alongside. Consistency has been the watch word for Yvonne Gaskin's bitch over both two and four bends at the London Road circuit and while an early lead would be preferable she has proved in the past that is by no means a necessity. Speedy Reggies Kid has been trapping with more consistency of late and may edge slightly right. He is no slouch at the boxes and is likely to prove the biggest threat to the selection.

Dower Forgold has pinged the last two times he has run over the 400m trip here and having looked sharp in a no race sprint at Belle Vue last week is fancied to break on top again (21:44) while Courts Ad Jake's expected initial move left should also help the selection's cause. Fweshfromthesesh is a threat if getting close to his excellent trial but cannot be certain to clear Headford Kev.

Course specialist Droopys Dresden will have plenty of supporters in a bid to erase last week's short-price defeat over the 575m (20:53) but while it will be no surprise if he did bounce back to form - especially from trap one - it could also be argued that with three defeats on the spin now could be the time to take him on. And in Welloiledmachine he has a rival at the top of his game. Much improved of late, Bernie Doyle's charge will have no qualms with his middle draw and is preferred.

Theres Mahogany looks like another useful prospect for the Keightley team judged on his impressive win over four bends at Belle Vue last week and is worth staying with on the step up in trip (19:29) even if the lack of a trial is a slight concern.

True Tagg has a wider draw than of late but is improving quickly and is worth chancing in a 400m Maiden (20:03) while in-form Lismadine Dream could prove best in a very winnable bitches contest (21:26).
