Odds: [4.9] Last five PGAs: 11/mc/28/2/- Following a scintillating performance to land his eighth WGC-Bridgestone Invitational title, the world number one is back around the same type of short odds that punters took with relish before his four PGA titles. That fifth 2013 victory confirms that that Tiger is close to his very best again, but favourite backers should be much more cautious this time around. It is over five years since he last won a major and recent efforts in contention for them have left plenty to be desired. Moreover, there are obvious parallels with similar late Woods gambles after winning during the run-up to several recent majors. Tiger is not that consistent anymore and the fact he finished only 39th in the 2003 PGA at Oak Hill, his worst ever major result at the time, doesn't bode well either.
