The Big Easy halves in price in the latest Masters odds after victory in the WGC CA Championship
Ernie Els is a big mover in the US Masters betting after destroying a world class field at the WGC CA Championship.
The Big Easy capped a run of fine form with a four shot victory at Doral to post a -18 winning total, compatriot Charl Schwartzel finished second with Padraig Harrington, Martin Kaymer and Matt Kuchar tied for third.
And Els sounded a confident note about his Augusta chances. Halfway through the WGC event he was told his latest Masters odds and responded: "I'd like to put 10 thousand [on that], because I'm a gambling man."
If the great man is keen to back himself maybe you should too. In what are developing markets, the South African trades at [19.0] in betting to win both with and without Tiger Woods, who is widely expected to announce his return to action before Augusta.
Els has traded as high as [60.0] for Masters glory.
In the current betting only Tiger ([5.2]), Phil Mickelson ([11.0]), Padraig Harrington ([16.0]) and Steve Stricker ([19.0]) are ahead of the Big Easy.
