This major, along with others, could so easily have fallen his way, when finishing second in 2010 and third last time, after missing what seemed like a dozen short putts. The fact nobody played Augusta better from tee-to-green is good cause for optimism, but his form going in doesn't really inspire this time. Lee hasn't seriously contended anywhere this season, with most of his problems occuring on the greens. That cannot bode well for arguably the toughest putting contest of the year.
