Adam Baylis came up with the goods last week when his selection Brett Rumford landed the odds at a very tasty 33/1, moving the team comfortably in to profit for the season. Can they double up at the Genesis Open with this trio of first round leader wagers?

"I actually think the 10/1 is on the generous side given DJ's mastery of Riviera - last year's winner has also twice finished runner-up with three further top-fives and a top 10."

Adam Baylis says: Back James Hahn @ 55/1

California's own James Hahn began 2018 in tremendous style, just losing out to Patton Kizzire at the Sony Open followed by a T11 at the Waste Management and a T26 at Pebble Beach that could've been so much better were it not for a tough first round performance... stay with me... He's four from five at the Genesis including tasting victory in 2015, pivotal to that was a stellar 66 on day one and that was no fluke, he went -4 on debut in 2013. He may not be the most spectacular player on tour but he's very economical and has proven a reliable man to have on side so far this season; what he lacks in driving distance he makes up for in his approach play. He has an early tee time at 7:53am and at 55/1 has the course experience to make his presence felt early-on.

Mike Norman says: Back Chez Reavie @ 50/1

Our in-form golf expert Steve 'The Punter' Rawlings gives Chez Reavie a favourable mention in his pre-tournament preview of this week's Genesis Open and I'm happy to take the hint and back the 36-year-old to make a fast start on Thursday. Reavie is in red hot form himself having finished runner-up at both the Waste Management and AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in recent weeks, but that form is certainly no flash in the pan as our man has made 20 consecutive cuts on the PGA Tour and has finished inside the top 25 in nine of his last 10 outings. Impressive form indeed. What's more, Reavie has gone well at Riviera previously too, finishing seventh in 2016 that included an opening 66 on day one which saw him sit second after the first round. He's a much better player now, playing with full of confidence, so with an early tee time on Thursday he looks a cracking price to give us a good run for our money.

Joe Dyer says: Back Dustin Johnson @ 10/1

Apologies for betting on the obvious but DJ simply has to be the final FRL wager this week. Playing at the top of the market has yielded our main successes so far this year and it makes sense to complement Mike and Adam's 50/1+ shots with the favourite. I actually think the 10/1 is on the generous side given DJ's mastery of Riviera - last year's winner has also twice finished runner-up with three further top-fives and a top 10. Add in recent form and he must go close - DJ was runner-up last week and a tournament winner to open up the 2018 calendar year. All in all, he is a must play, even if just as a cover for your other FRL fancies.
