Chris Wood landed the place portion of Steve Rawlings' 126.0125/1 bet last week while Shane Lowry was one birdie away from a place payout for Joe Dyer. We're on the glorious links of Royal County Down this week for the Irish Open so here are the team's five selections...
"Even when out of form Parry has still been able to play links golf - the Alfred Dunhill provided his best payday of 2014, as did the 2013 Scottish Open. A starring member of the 2007 Walker Cup side at Royal County Down, Parry represents huge value at 251.0250/1."

Dan Geraghty: Back Peter Uihlein @ 67.066/1
I followed Peter Uihlein around Walton Heath for 36 holes yesterday at US Open qualifying, all facets of his game were in great shape, particularly his monstrous driving and it's fair to say his four under total was the very least he could have taken from the day. Putt after putt burnt the edge on its way past the cup and the American finished an agonising one shot outside the qualification places. This year's US Open would be a particularly tough one for Uihlein to miss given he won the US Amateur at Chambers Bay in 2010, and has spoken fondly of his love for the venue. However, all hope is not lost, victory this week would push Uihlein significantly up the world rankings and if he can crack the top 60 by June 15th, the fairytale return to Chambers Bay would become reality. Links golf holds no fear for this American youngster, back him to put Monday's Walton Heath performance behind him.
Paul Krishnamurty: Back Kevin Phelan @ 201.0200/1
The Irish Open market may be understandably dominated by big names like Rory and Rickie, but there's no shortage of massive-priced each-way alternatives with proven links pedigree. In a very short career to date, Kevin Phelan has yet to prove such pedigree but we can take an educated guess that any potentially world-class Irish player will know his way around Royal County Down. Phelan's recent numbers - three top-three finishes in his last ten Race to Dubai starts - make a mockery of these enormous odds, especially for his national Open. Moreover, his recent driving accuracy and greens in regulation stats are very impressive and those disciplines are invariably essential around a tough links layout.
Joe Dyer: Back Alex Noren @ 51.050/1
It's been quite a comeback season for Alex Noren who qualified for the US Open this week the day after finishing in the top 10 at the BMW PGA Championship. That high finish sits nicely with his runner-up slot at the Dubai Desert Classic and ninth at the Qatar Masters after missing pretty much all of the 2014 campaign. Importantly for this week's test we know that Noren can play links golf, having finished top five in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and Scottish Open in 2012, a year in which he was also top 10 in The Open. The Swede has won three times on the European Tour and must be feeling close to adding his fourth.
Steven Rawlings: Back John Parry @ 251.0250/1
Like Joe's selection I am also plumping for one of Monday's US Open qualifiers - but mine can be backed at five times Noren's price! After a horrendous 2014 when he only made five cuts, John Parry has put together some very encouraging form this year with a fifth place in Mauritius his best result. He is clearly in good nick after finishing third over two rounds at Walton Heath to make the 2015 US Open. More importantly, even when out of form Parry has still been able to play links golf - the Alfred Dunhill provided his best payday of 2014, as did the 2013 Scottish Open. A starring member of the 2007 Walker Cup side at Royal County Down, Parry represents huge value at 251.0250/1
Mike Norman: Back David Howell @ 67.066/1
I was very tempted to go with Chris Wood this week, who was an excellent selection for Steve at Wentworth and landed the place money at the very rewarding odds of 125/1. But I'm going to stick with David Howell who was a big disappointment for me last week, however, his Wentworth form has been particularly poor since his victory there nine years ago and with hindsight I should have seen another disappointing display was on the cards. Prior to last week Howell had been in great form, finishing second place three times in as many months. It was noticeable how many players who contended in Spain a fortnight ago were in contention last week, suggesting current form is a huge plus at this time of the year. Howell is an excellent links golf player and with an inflated price following last week's missed cut I'm willing to give the Englishman another chance.
