Tiger Woods has admitted that his priorities will change when he becomes a father for the first time in July.
The world number one's wife Erin is due to give birth in early July, around the same time as Woods is scheduled to host the AT&T National tournament in Bethesda, Maryland.
The event runs from July 5-8 and Woods is desperate to play in the first tournament he has hosted on the PGA Tour but admits that circumstances may dictate otherwise.
"My intent is to play, although my wife might have something to say about that," he said. "As everyone understands, our number one priority in our lives is our child.
"You get to witness it for the first time only once and I want to be there to be with her in that moment."
Woods is set to line up in the Memorial tournament in Dublin, Ohio this week and, unsurprisingly, trades as the 3.55 favourite, with arch-rival Phil Mickelson next in the betting at 8.6.
He will then attempt to win his third US Open, at Oakmont Country Club, and is on offer at 3.83 to win in the Pittsburgh suburb, with 'Lefty' Mickelson again second favourite at 9.2.
Woods admits that he will have his hands full in the next few months but is confident of being able to juggle his time between playing golf and domestic life.
"There are quite a few challenges and probably time management skills are certainly tested," he added.
"Then again, these are all things that are very exciting. Hosting your first Tour event, playing the US Open and, above all, having the birth of your first child."
