Henrik Stenson has gone to the top of the European Order of Merit standings following his victory in the WGC Match Play event.
The Swedish ace defeated defending champion Geoff Ogilvy 2&1 in Sunday's final, which led to him picking up the $1.3million winners cheque.
The 30-year-old, who holed the winning putt at last year's Ryder Cup, also moves up three places to fifth following his first victory in the US.
Stenson admitted: "I struggled off the tee and with the putter and to be honest I don't know how I held it all together.
"It's such a long week and everyone's exhausted and I think Geoff and I made some silly mistakes this afternoon."
The Swede has won over €1.4million this season after victory in Tuscon and claiming the Dubai Desert Classic title earlier this month.
Stenson, having earlier traded at 16, is now the 2.2 favourite to top the European money list at the end of the season.
Ernie Els is trading at 6.4 for the Order of Merit, with Paul Casey the best priced British player at 6.8.
