Phil Mickeslson's victory at Sawgrass on Sunday has seen him move back to second place in the world rankings behind Tiger Woods.
The 36-year-old put in a superb round on Sunday to claim the Players Championship by two shots from Spain's Sergio Garcia.
The San Diego-born left-hander now sits just above Jim Furyk in the rankings, with Adam Scott of Australia back in fourth and Ernie Els sitting in fifth.
Tiger Woods is, not surprisingly, the 1.43 favourite to head the PGA money list at the end of the year, although the rest of the market has yet to develop.
The Winner without Woods market may be more inviting to Betfair customers with plenty of top names in with a chance and available to back.
Mickelson and Vijay Singh are among the favourites while Furyk is also one of the frontrunners.
Lee Westwood's first victory in more than three years moves him up 15 places to 48th, while Luke Donald sits 10th, with Sergio Garcia and Padraig Harrington behind him in the list.
Harrington heads the market for this week's Irish Open, and trades at 9.2 while Westwood is on offer at 13.5 and Thomas Bjorn is available at 21.
The Irishman is keen to become the first Irishman to win on home soil for 25 years.
"At this stage I want any Irish title," he said. "John O'Leary won in 1982, 25 years ago. But this is a great opportunity for me.
"We are coming to a golf course that suits me and I am looking forward to it."
