The Australian has played just four events since the turn of the year and having been runner-up at the Mercedes-Benz Championship, he has finished tied 69th, tied 33rd and tied 61st in the other tournaments.

A final round 80 at last week's WGC CA Championship suggested tough times ahead, but the 26-year-old is confident that things will improve soon.

The Adelaide-born star had previously taken a break from golf, saying: "I was pretty rusty (at the CA Championship). I didn't hit a shot for five weeks, but I needed to do it.

"I don't think it's necessarily hurt me, but I just haven't gotten back into a rhythm on the course yet, which is a little frustrating.

"I'm trying to keep the bigger picture in mind though and everything I've done so far this year is kind of working towards next week (The Masters)."

Scott is trading at 50 to win the first Major of the year, while the 2004 Players Championship winner can be backed at 32 in the winner/without Woods market.

Betfair punters feel Scott has a decent chance of claiming the Shell Houston Open title this week, with the Australian the current 17.5 second favourite.
