Evra & Hoddle reaction:
Betfair ambassador Patrice Evra on 60% of Man United wanting a Premier League title over a World Cup for England...
"I don't understand that. The fans need to be behind their country for the competition, no matter what team they support. I'm disappointed about that, like I was also disappointed when some fans booed Harry Maguire when he played for England.
You can't do that no matter what club you play for, you represent your country and you need everybody together. You could see at the Euros the way the fans celebrated together, it was one team and that's what you need, which is why I'm really disappointed with this statistic."
Betfair ambassador Glen Hoddle on 62% of Tottenham wanting a Premier League title over a World Cup for England...
"That's the case for most clubs' fans, every fan will say the same about their own club. I'm not surprised at all. To have the icing on the cake as a Spurs man, it would be nice to do both, win the World Cup and the Premier League."
Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom:
"It's the classic club vs country debate and football supporters have made their voices heard and the club is the clear winner, with 65% of fans saying they'd rather their side wins the Premier League than winning the World Cup.
"Chelsea supporters are the fanbase that backs England the most with 39% of responders favouring a World Cup triumph over another Premier League title, while Liverpool are the biggest backers of their club with just 21% preferring a World Cup win and 73% opting for more Premier League glory."
