Lukaku to send Belgium to final
France vs Belgium

France take on Belgium in the first of the Semi Finals, in what should be an entertaining game.
Both sides were fortunate to make it to this round after creating very few chances in their Quarter Final ties.
France managed just 0.46 xG against Uruguay, with a goalkeeping error to thank for their second goal.
Belgium recorded just 0.54 xG against Brazil, with an own goal and a clinical finish from Kevin De Bruyne (5%) sending them through. But that was against Brazil, one of the best teams in the tournament.
Belgium have been abetter attacking side than France throughout the World Cup, generating an average of 2.33 xGF, nearly double that of France's (1.26 xGF).
So backing a Belgian player to score first makes sense given that they are the more potent of the two teams.
Romelu Lukaku is the most dangerous player in the two teams according to xG, averaging 0.68 non-penalty xG so far at this World Cup.
Though he played selflessly against Brazil, playing wide right in an excellent tactical decision, he is expected to play a much more central role in this match.
Chancing him to score first and add to his tally of four World Cup goals is the suggestion in this match.
