A good collective performance from the Betting.Betfair football writers this weekend, but the star of the week was Dan Fitch's Goalscorer Gamble column, with four of the five recommendations landing. Some nice wins in golf and racing as well...
For this week's Goalscorer Gamble - in which Dan Fitch scours the domestic and top European leagues for good value scorer bets - the column tipped up Luis Suarez to score versus Everton at 2.68/5, Loic Remy to hit the first against Norwich at 5.79/2, Thomas Muller to pick up the last goal of Bayern Munich's game against Borussia Dortmund at 7.513/2 and Alexis Sanchez to net versus Granada at 2.111/10. Only a rare blank from Radamel Falcao prevented a clean sweep. You can read the Goalscorer Gamble every Saturday morning.
Our regular Championship tipsters, Mike Norman and Andy Tongue, had a good weekend with Mike backing Bolton at 4.47/2 to win at Watfordand Millwall to beat Barnsley at 2.0621/20 while Andy, who previews the televised games each weekend, landed both his recommended bets on Doncaster v Yeovil and Sheffield Wednesday v Huddersfield.
Mike's Championship column is now showing 19.42 pts profit from 60 pts staked, while his Premier League 3pm previews column also had a good weekend, with wins landed at Arsenal (Correct Score), Newcastle (home win) and Hull (Under 2.5 Goals).
We also saw a profitable weekend for Alan Dudman's League One column as he tipped up a 0-0 correct score in the Wolves v Brentford game at a healthy 13.012/1 as well as a successful lay of MK Dons and a back of Shrewsbury.
Looking across the Channel now and it was another good performance from one of the stars of Betting.Betfair, Ligue 1 tipster James Eastham who landed three out of four recommendations: Lorient on the Asian Handicap at 2.0521/20, both teams to score at Sochauz and St Etienne draw no bet at 1.9520/21.That's five weekends out of six where James has posted a profit on Ligue 1.
Away from the football and it was a good Saturday for Timeform's Matt Gardner after he tipped up Cue Card to win the Betfair Chase at a chunky 10.09/1.
And finally, there was a nice 10.5 point profit from Paul Krishnamurty's 'Find Me a 100 Winner' golf column which suggested backing Jbe Kruger at 150.0149/1 before laying at 20.019/1 and then 3.02/1. Kruger ended up in second spot, trading lower than both recommended lay prices. The column is 55 points up for the season.

Hull City v Crystal Palace
If you had backed Palace In-Play in the 79th minute, when the score was 0-0, you would have been £120 better off with Betfair versus William Hill after the Eagles ended up picking up three points (£308 with Betfair / £188 with William Hill – calculated using a £25 stake)
