Sterling sends City back to the top of the table

Manchester City were at their swaggering best against Southampton today, winning 6-1 to reclaim the lead from Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table while also going four clear of third-placed Chelsea who were victorious in the late kick-off.

That cushion over the chasing pack makes champions City [1.41] to make it two titles on the trot.

Ably assisted by Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling was the destroyer-in-chief. The England man scored twice and assisted twice in City's second 6-1 home victory of the season. That scoreline was backed at [55.0] on the Betfair Exchange.

Hazard returns to take Chelsea to a win

Chelsea didn't have quite such an easy time of it in the 4pm kick-off.

Ahead through Alvaro Morata, visitors Crystal Palace pegged the Blues back thanks to Andros Townsend's 53rd minute equaliser.

It took the introduction of Eden Hazard to turn matters back in Chelsea's favour, the home side scoring within 90 seconds of the Belgian taking to the field as their star man set up Morata for his second. Pedro added a third to put the game to bed.

Chelsea are [12.5] to win the Premier League title.
