With Arsenal slipping up last night and Chelsea failing to beat West Ham this evening Man City took full advantage as they thrashed Tottenham at White Hart Lane. Mike Norman has all tonight's In-Play odds details...
"Man City were matched at 2.186/5 to win the game, while the 1-5 Correct Score hit a massive high of 170.0169/1."
Manchester City moved to the top of the Premier League table after recording a convincing 1-5 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane this evening.
City - who can now be backed at 1.814/5 to win the title - took an early lead through Sergio Aguero before the striker was later substituted with what looked like a hamstring strain. Aguero was matched at 5.95/1 to score the first goal of the game.
Any hopes that Spurs had of getting back into the game were dashed just five minutes into the second half when Danny Rose was dismissed after he conceded a penalty when his sliding tackle brought down Edin Dzeko. Yaya Toure tucked away the penalty just minutes before Dzeko got City's third goal of the night.
A Sending Off was backed at 6.05/1 before the game while a Penalty Taken was matched at 4.57/2.
Tottenham scored what turned out to be just a consolation 15 minutes into the second half thanks to Etienne Capoue, but Stevan Jovetic later scored his first Premier League goal (matched at 14.013/1) and Vincent Kompany got City's fifth (matched at 17.016/1) to cap an excellent night for Manuel Pellegrini's men.
Man City were matched at 2.186/5 to win the game, while the 1-5 Correct Score hit a massive high of 170.0169/1.
Chelsea are out to 4.77/2 to be crowned Premier League champions (Arsenal can be backed at 6.411/2) after a frustrating goalless draw with West Ham. The Blues registered over 30 shots on the night but thanks to some fantastic goalkeeping and excellent defensive displays the Hammers came away from Stamford Bridge with a precious point.
The 0-0 Correct Score was matched at a high of 32.031/1 on the night, while the Draw was matched at 9.28/1.
Undoubtedly the game of the night came at Villa Park where the hosts were backed at 24.023/1 to win the match before coming from two goals down to beat West Midlands rivals West Brom 4-3.
With six goals being scored in the first half the Any Unquoted Half Time Score was matched at 42.041/1, while the Over 6.5 Goals option was backed at odds of 65.064/1 on the night.
And finally, Sunderland eased their relegation troubles with a nervy 1-0 win over Stoke at the Stadium of Light thanks to another goal from Adam Johnson (matched at 10.09/1 in the First Goalscorer market).
The Black Cats were matched at 2.285/4 to win the game, while the 1-0 Correct Score hit a high of 8.615/2 In-Play. Gus Poyet's men are now available to back at 2.789/5 in the Relegation market.
